Pistil Flowers – Private Workshop Packages

Terms & Conditions + Waiver of Liability

Introduction These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the booking and participation in all private workshop packages offered by Pistil Flowers at its Manulife Centre location, 55 Bloor St. W, Toronto, ON. By booking or participating in a private workshop, the participant agrees to comply with these Terms in full.
Booking and Payment
- All private workshop bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
- Failure to pay in full will result in automatic cancellation of the booking.
- If the party/guests are more than 30 minutes late from the scheduled start time, the entire private workshop may be cancelled at the discretion of Pistil Flowers, without refund.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Full refund is available for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled event.
- Cancellations made 14 days prior are eligible for a 30% refund of the booking amount.
- No refund is available for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event.
Liability and Safety
- Participants acknowledge that workshops involve the use of tools and materials, including but not limited to glassware, floral shears, knives, and other equipment, which may carry risks of injury.
- Pistil Flowers is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or incidents occurring before, during, or after the event.
- Participants are responsible for their own actions and safety during the workshop.
Allergies and Health Conditions
- Participants must inform Pistil Flowers in advance of any known allergies, including but not limited to food, flowers, plants, or fragrances.
- Pistil Flowers is not liable for any allergic reactions, illness, or injury arising from participation in the workshop.
Property Damage and Personal Belongings
- Pistil Flowers is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to the workshop.
- Participants are responsible for any damage caused to the premises, equipment, or materials during the workshop.
Alcohol Service
- Alcohol may be served during workshops as part of the event package.
- Participants acknowledge that alcohol consumption carries inherent risks and agree to consume responsibly. Pistil Flowers is not responsible for any incidents resulting from alcohol consumption.
Waiver of Liability
- By participating in the private workshop, participants release, waive, and discharge Pistil Flowers, its employees, agents, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from participation in the event.
- This waiver applies to all claims, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Photography and Media Consent
- Pistil Flowers may take photographs, videos, or other media during the event.
- Participants consent to the use of such media for marketing, promotional, or social media purposes unless prior restrictions are requested in writing.
Intellectual Property
- All materials, content, and media produced by or for Pistil Flowers remain the property of the Company.
- Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written consent from Pistil Flowers.
Conduct
- Pistil Flowers reserves the right to remove any participant who engages in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior without refund.
Privacy
- Any personal information collected for bookings will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating the event and related communications.
- Pistil Flowers follows standard privacy practices to protect participant information and will not share it with third parties except as required by law.
Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
